The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the novice is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional face-off, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually happening.
